Oreo Cookie Truffles
Problem: Everyone my age always wants to celebrate their birthday in a bar. This makes bringing large cakes, pies or desserts pretty much impossible. Of course, mostly it’s the thought that counts… but I can’t help myself when a friend’s birthday approaches, I have to ask “So what can I make you?” And then comes the disappointment when it sits at my house for a week because they couldn’t come get it. I usually end up taking it to work which creates more frustration. In the end it’s almost as if I’m better off not asking.

Solution: These Oreo truffles. They’re not fussy, fancy or over the top, but nothing says “Happy Birthday!” like something sweet. So here you have it, a bar friendly treat no one can resist. Just don’t forget to buy the birthday girl or boy in your life a drink too…
